Model Info

Below please find the answers to the most common questions asked by potential Forgotten Classics models.

Forgotten Classics Model Info

I get asked a lot of the same questions again and again so I will try to cover everything here.

As a car club we raise money for a charity through raffles. When you come to a cruise night aside from being photographed, you will encourage attendees to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the drawing and handing out prizes.

Contest

We are going to be having a “Miss Forgotten Classics” contest probably in early December.
The winner will receive a trophy and an $1100.00 scholarship to the John Robert Powers Academy for Modeling and also a gift certificate to a clothing store to be determined.

We accept all types of girls regardless of height, body type, race, age, or anything else. If this is something you want to do, then just do it! Even tats and piercings are welcome.

Judging will take place online via voting by registered club members. So remember it is to your advantage to come out more than once so people can get to know you.

The winner will be expected to show up at several key events over the following year of her reign and to at least one cruise night a month.

You need to be at least 16 to participate, however if you are under 18 a parent or guardian must come with you to the first event to sign a model release form.

In exchange for your time an online digital portfolio will be built for you such as this one: http://www.forgottenclassics.com/brittany/

Time and location of shows

Weather allowing, we meet every Saturday night at:

Sonic Drive-In
7745 S 51st Ave
Laveen, AZ 85339

This is at the SE corner of 51st Ave and Baseline a little bit back from the corner.

We meet from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and I would recommend showing up between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

If you show up, there is no guarantee that it will be a good night for a photo session. If our DJ does not show up, or we do not get enough cars, etc. then the night is kind of a bust. It is just the nature of this type of show

What to wear

I get this question the most. What we would prefer is a faux-1950’s look. More like a sexy rockabilly type. If you can not pull this off, then just come as you like. Do not dress overly sexy or revealing, remember this is still a family event. If you need some ideas for looks I prefer, then look here: http://www.forgottenclassics.com/cargirls/
You see a lot of it is not even in the clothing as much as it is in hair and makeup.

Photo Submissions

If you wish to submit your own photos for your online portfolio please make sure they are the highest quality photos you can obtain. They should be a minimum of 72DPI (150DPI preferred) and no smaller than 640x480 (or 480x640)

Compensation

Remember this is a volunteer gig. The only forms of compensation you will receive are your online digital portfolio as mentioned above, and an entry in to the Miss Forgotten Classics contest
